Verify the payee
Enhance your traditional positive pay process with FraudGuard Positive PayPLUS. This comprehensive solution automatically verifies payee line information, in addition to check number, date, amount or MICR data, and matches it with the “checks issued” file provided by the financial institution’s corporate customer. With the addition of automated payee line interrogation, all relevant fields are verified to ensure that no check alterations go unnoticed.
If discrepancies between the information within the “checks issued” file and the actual check fields are detected, they will be marked as exceptions for review. Suspect items are available for review through the Guardian Series Decision Support application or for export to third party decisioning products.
